CRAN release? #66
Comments
Yes, there are plans, it just keeps getting pushed back by other priorities (really we're still digging out from pandemic-related work here). We've used rrq in production for long enough that we're happy with the overall structure and don't expect the interface to considerably change. I'd like to sort out some of the ideas around fault tolerance ideally before release, but I don't think there was a massive amount extra to do that would be the sort of breaking change. The other issue of course is getting the patience to deal with the unpredictable submission process, particularly for weird packages it's often not much fun as you know well :) I'll hopefully have some time towards the end of the year to properly look over the package and see how it's looking, but then am offline most of January... |
Fantastic! Thanks for your work on the package. |
Hi Rich, how are the CRAN prospects of rrq looking at the moment? |
Thanks for the bump - obviously not much happened since the last message but @r-ash and I have triaged the blockers for release and will see what we can get done over the next couple of weeks :) |
Are there plans for a CRAN release?
