IMPORTANT

Read and tick the following checkbox after you have created the issue or place an x inside the brackets ;)

Explain the Problem

When I open the app, the log files show this error:

{"reqId":"KAHu940sbCgyJV\/s0DMV","remoteAddr":"ip","app":"core","message":"User backend OC_User_IMAP already initialized.","level":0,"time":"2017-01-17T19:06:09+00:00","method":"GET","url":"\/nextcloud\/index.php\/apps\/news\/%7B%7B%20::Content.getFeed(item.feedId).faviconLink%20%7D%7D","user":"user","version":"11.0.1.2"}

I know that authentication is not related to the news app. But this error only shows up on the news app, I can start all other apps without this error.

Steps to Reproduce

Explain what you did to encounter the issue

  1. Run NC 11 with Imap-user backend
  2. Install News-app (and others)
  3. Find error in logfile.

System Information

  • News app version: 10.1.0
  • Nextcloud version: 11.0.1
  • PHP version: 7.0 (dot deb packages)
  • Database and version: 10.0.28-MariaDB, for debian-linux-gnu (x86_64)
  • Browser and version: FF 50.1.0
  • Distribution and version: Debian 8

Check the URL

/nextcloud/index.php/apps/news/%7B%7B%20::Content.getFeed(item.feedId).faviconLink%20%7D%7D

You are accessing an URL that consists of text (which could be linked to the error if the page doesnt even render properly). Well in general: no idea. Not related, I can't help you :(

PS: you should also check your browser error console as described in the issue template

Don't think that is related:

Content Security Policy: Directive ‘frame-src’ has been deprecated. Please use directive ‘child-src’ instead. (unknown)
JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.0

The message also pops up when I click on the nextcloud-logo, I will open an issue in the main repo.
