Description

Impact

While syncing a directory, the Linux desktop client incorrectly assigned read and write permissions for folders to all users instead of the user running the sync client.

Patches

It is recommended that the Nextcloud Desktop client is upgraded to 3.13.4 or later

Workarounds

  • Disable the desktop client
