This user had no issues at all with NC before the upgrade. Problem came up after. I am seeing no other users impacted with this issue, which is odd.

GitMate.io thinks possibly related issues are #11509 (Corrupted DB after update to 14.0.1), #11442 (root directory unvailable to some users on 14.0.1), #6012 (Internal Server error after 12.0.1 upgrade), #11545 (root directory unvailable, if external storage is offline on 14.0.1), and #11438 (Nextcloud broken after update to 14.0.1.1).

I do have the same problem for one of our users. I am available to post any information if necessary.

Should be fixed in 14.0.2, test the release candidate - now out. https://help.nextcloud.com/t/help-testing-rc1-version-of-14-0-2-13-0-7-and-12-0-12/38359
