Currently (as of April 2021) extraction sites exist for heart from multiple consortia as a pilot to integrate and bring in registered tissue data. Surprisingly, even for heart, there are no "standard" extraction site locations.
YES, there are plans to bring in tissue extraction sites for all organs as they are added to the Registration User Interface (RUI).
Currently, for large intestine there are 4 sites, for spleen there are several sizes and shapes of extraction sites.
EACH ORGAN is very different for the number and size of extraction site.

Why are the extraction sites only for select organs? Is there plan to add for all of them ? If not, why ?
