Clear Views Logs

what would be the best way to clear the Logs from Views?
This logs reached a number of 58 sites and i would like to clear them from time to time cause i cant even skip pages.

Could i delete content in log_items & log_systems in my database or is there maybe a way to export this data?

What exactly is the purpose of the cache Table? does this speed up access to items that are in cache?

A user asked me recently about search field in Password Page, what's it for? If i search something i end up at Home Page

THis is something that actually doesn't exist. I have to add such a "purge" feature.
No please don't suppress the data this way. Some logs are mandatory for good working.

Cache table is a kind of agregation of items and works also like a small cache feature.

Search field in passwords page only search between the names of folders.

I've tested the search option for firefox and IE 9. Firefox works fine, IE 9 redirects me to Home Page, going back to Password Page i see folders i have sought after.

Another IE 9 Bug for me is when i create more then one item in folder. Its not possible for me to create a second item, i have to reload the page.

Do you know what the problem might be? Is this a IE9 related problem?
