Request for documentation on how to write a backend for 3rd party engines

Hello folks,

I am interested to use a 3rd party engine as a backend with the help of gluten. I went through the documentation, but I am unable to find much there. Can anyone point me to some resources for regarding this.

I am specially looking for a hello world kind of documentation where I can run a very simple query like Select 1 or Select sin(10) on the 3rd party engine.
