Creation of self help document for Outreachy applicants starter task.

As a newbie for both ODK-X and open source, I struggled a bit to sift through all the documentations to finish the task. Since, its important to finish the task as early as possible as well as familiarize oneself with the tools and their working, I'd like to create a separate document for the starter task which will give other people a quick start as well leave them with more time to get a deep understanding of the tools and how they function before taking up an issue to be tackled. Can this task be assigned to me?
