Tested the latest builder from main in core and got the following message:

2024-04-18T13:37:10.786-0700    INFO    builder/config.go:110   Using go        {"go-executable": "/Users/alex/.asdf/shims/go"}
Error: builder version "0.97.0" does not match build configuration version "0.98.0": mismatch in go.mod and builder configuration versions

This should be fixed by open-telemetry/opentelemetry-collector#9999
