Allow someone to delete their account, and figure out a sensible default set of actions for requests to remain public if they have public requests on the site.
Currently user can only change their name and email address, and the only extra function in the admin interface is to 'ban for spam' action.

I think there's a bit of confusion in the interface, but if you put anything in the "ban text" it will ban the user - you don't have to click the red button to ban someone.

If someone wants their account deleted, the current process is:

  • Change the name on the account
  • Add a note to the "Ban text" field on the user account
  • Remove any profile photo/profile description.

Given that upstream is built in Europe, it wouldn't surprise me if there are features in a new release that cover things like deleting people/requests.
