ETC forked on Parity v1.4.12-stable #4759
Comments
What software are the other pools using? ethereumproject/go-ethereum? Have there been any changes to the ETC consensus protocol recently? How did you resolve the issue finally? And, if you have backups, could you share logs? |
I don't know what software other pools using. There's no ETC consensus protocol changes recently. Wallet didn't catch up correct blockchain even restart, so I resynced blockchain from the last backup files.

@miningpoolhub This log looks perfectly fine. No signs of fork here. Do you have a log from one of the machines that were mining and ended up on a wrong chain? Perhaps there was a network connection loss? |
Ah.. Sorry. I found that I didn't paste long enough. There's error log just after that log.
Here's full log around fork.

This has been fixed in #3896 and will make it into next stable release (1.5.8) |
ETC forked about 10 hours ago.
This is miningpoolhub mining address

After block height 3295568, something went wrong. All 7 parity nodes forked and built their own blocks.
3295667 is the next block mined from miningpoolhub. which seems like mined after fork.
I copied forked blockchain files to analyze if it's needed. But it's quite big to share currently.
