Nop. We need to focus on the ones we introduced in the rel types diagram (http://joanma.uab.cat/temp/graphs/OGCAPItiles.htm). Those are:

tilesets-vector, tilesets-map, tilesets-coverage, tiling-schemes

The title here mentions the "tiles" relation. It looks to me like the tickets mentioned are about other relation values. Is "tiles" a rel value that is used in the spec?

@tschaub There is no longer any tiles relation; there was one (or more than one) at different phases of the development evolution prior to the publication.
The templated link to individual tiles from the tileset is the standard IANA item type, as seen in table 13 note j and figure 13 (requirement 18), and in the links property of tileSet.json.

All links relations relevant for OGC API - Tiles are summarized in section 5.2.
