In the GUI, only File > Open File is available, which suggests that analysis performed through the GUI can only handle a single file. Nevertheless, dragging and dropping an entire folder on the GUI window works. I found this tip in an old blog comment from Gary McGath. Shouldn't the folder analysis be an explicit option?
