LMS App - Linked SMC videos not getting copied when syncing

While going through some of the HS+ courses to see how they would look on the laptops I came across some links for videos that would not play. After checking the course on the desktop the link looked normal and worked fine. I added another link to a different video to check and when I synced the course on the laptop that new link did not play the video as well.

Experimented with a course that had a video link that did work on the laptop. Then added a new link in the module and did a sync on the laptop. The new link would not download/play the video. While looking at the two links on the desktop Canvas they worked fine.
