What's your feature/idea?
Existing code blocks are fantastic for visualizing code in documentation. An improvement though would to be able to add numbered footnotes to the codeblock. This would allow us to explain how code is created, or what the user needs to implement.
Above example taken from Spring documentation. Please see https://docs.spring.io/spring-session/docs/2.3.0.RC1/reference/html5/index.html#httpsession
What's your desired outcome?
Be able to add a marker into a code block, which in turn automatically allocates a number and adds space for a footnote to be entered underneath a code block.
What's the impact of this for you?
Anything else?
