Will Colyseus Cocos2d-x sdk client working with latest Colyseus server and later version?

hi there,
I'm trying to use Colyseus Cocos2d-x sdk client with Colyseus 0.13, but I'm not sure it will work with latest Colyseus 0.15
I don't know why Colyseus team does not release a general c++ sdk client for any c++ game engine can use.
Please help me to confirm about this,
