French high schooler can’t get verified.

Hi everyone,

Hello,

I’m pretty frustrated with GitHub’s Education verification process right now. I've tried multiple times to get verified, but I keep getting denied for unclear reasons.

A bit of background: I had GitHub Education access when I was in middle school two years ago with no problem using the same type of documents (a school certificate). Now I'm in my second year of high school (1ère in France), and even with the same documents, I'm hitting roadblocks.

Here's what's happening:

1. The first time, it said I was too far from my school, so I applied again while actually at the school.
2. I got denied again without a clear reason, just a link with common denial reasons.
3. The third time, I was still at school and used cellular data, even added extra info to the picture (my school certificate on top of my "communication notebook" to show I'm a student there), but got denied again for being "too far."

I'm out of ideas. Would making a video of me walking into school and asking teachers "hey, am I a student here?" would not be enough for GitHub too??? Any advice would be great!

Thank you, but no. I though of that before you. Why would I take so much time to write this if my solution was on Google? I can’t even contact GitHub about it, they just tell me to go away. And I am 1000% sure that if I somehow find a way to contact GitHub and talk about this problem, I’ll just get an automated response.
