Custom HTTP POST requests

Hello, I wanted to ask if it's possible to send custom HTTP POST requests from Contember backend? I'm trying to setup automated push notifications in this Expo project which I joined recently and I've been told it should be possible, but I was wondering if it really is, because if I'm not mistaken Contember serves only as a CMS.

Hi @tesarlukas, Actions might be what you are looking for (available in 1.3 alpha).

Actions in Contember are tools that automate workflows by monitoring changes in data and triggering webhooks (see docs).

If you're interested, we can enable the option on the project to set the alpha version of the engine to have this feature available.

Hi, sorry for such a late response. The Actions feature looks like something that'll do. What information do I need to provide to you to have it enabled?

Hi @tesarlukas, sorry I've missed your message. You are now able to switch your Nekrachni project to engine 1.3.

You can find it in project detail > Application settings.
