With Faction 1.2 we have taken a lot of feedback from the community and built some new features to make Faction more flexible than ever for your automated security assessment reporting and vulnerability tracking workflows!

🎉 Introducing the Faction App Store

Starting in 1.2 we are introducing the Faction App Store to make it easier for developers to extend functionality. We realize that every security team is unique in the tools they use and the processes they employ. The App Store and Faction Extensions give you the power to customize Faction to meet your specific needs.

The App Store will allow to:

1. Automate all aspects of Assessments, Vulnerabilities, Remediation, and Searching into any other system.
2. Add Graphs and Images to your reports.
3. Integrate with a custom vulnerability tracking system.
4. Add vulnerabilities to Faction from any other tool.
5. Tap into community-developed extensions.
6. And Much More!

🎯 Adding CVSS Scoring:

Faction already lets you use your own custom severity rankings but with 1.2 we will add the option to use CVSS Scoring as well.

You can insert the CVSS Vector directly or use our CVSS Calculator.

🎨 Custom Report Graphics

Using Faction's new Extension API its possible to add custom graphics to your reports.

💣 Vulnerability Tagging

With Vulnerability Tags, you can separate your vulnerabilities into different parts of your reports. For example say you are doing a full penetration test that contains social engineering, wireless pentest, and application pentest. You can tag these vulnerabilities in the system and have them displayed in different sections of your reports.
