Read-only HTML Templates

I can't figure out why some HTML templates are writeable, and others are read-only. I was trying to make updates to our site, but it's not letting me update the HTML

Per Or, "The templates are generated automatically by django for each new school. Perhaps there's a way to create the files with write permissions in python?"

What files and sections of them are you trying to modify? I'll take a look at them
