I converted the world from bedrock to java and then I did the render so thats probably the issue.

It looks like it's a duplicate of #1899
I'm having the exact same issue, except my world has been upgraded from 1.18.2 to 1.19.

The light is properly rendered only in chunks that I visited in 1.19.

This is something I observed when testing the upgrade of my server, which consists in updating the jar file and running the server with the --ForceUpgrade flag the first time.
I'm happy to run any additional test you might think of as I won't update my production server until that issue is resolved or I find a workaround that does not consist in visiting the chunks in-game.

A good workaround consists in upgrading the server without the --ForceUpgrade argument.
I have not found any solution to recover from a server that has been updated with the --ForceUpgrade argument yet.
