Invalid pointer when running sync client 1.1.1 on linux x86_64 #54
Comments
The crashes in the fedora bugtracker come from version 0.60.0. Are you sure you work with 0.60.1 in this case? |
Can you reproduce this? If so, could you please provide me with the ownClient log file? You can create it using the --logfile command line switch. Thx. |
Sure! cat /etc/issue uname -a yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing owncloud-csync owncloud-client owncloud --help Crash after four minutes... owncloud --logfile /tmp/owncloud.log rpm -qf /usr/lib64/ocsync-0/ocsync_owncloud.so The requested log file I have, but I cannot publish it here for privacy reasons. Excerpts from log file: 11-05 20:19:05:421 csync.statedb - sqlite3_compile error: no such table: metadata - on query SELECT md5 FROM metadata WHERE phash='5266962390296580922' AND modtime=1350051535 (at this point crash) |
Unfortunately owncloud remains useless for me unless this bug is fixed. Anything I can do? |
"ERROR: Result struct not valid!" happens also in #41 |
Finally I found that SAFE_FREE is called on an uninitialized value if the result struct is not valid. Fixed that - that should fix this issue. Will appear with 1.1.2 |
Using owncloud client on Fedora FC17, 64bit.
The client crashes after running it for several minutes:
glibc detected *** /usr/bin/owncloud: free(): invalid pointer: 0x00007fffd73cbb39 ***
This is the crashing source code line is this one:
/usr/src/debug/ocsync-0.60.1/modules/csync_owncloud.c:1312
