Before promoting the wasmtime wasm backend from hidden behind a cargo feature to just experimental (still off by default) we need to:

clean some questionable unsafe code,
aliasing violations, see wasmtime implementation violates aliasing requirements #4599
to make it compile (NOT run) on ARM, see Wasmtime fails to compile on ARM architectures. #4188
zeroing for imported memories wasmtime: fix the memory zeroing for imported memories #5036
