Hey,
first of all good work on this.
However i would love to get some more information on your data, since i work on a similar problem. Could you provide some extra information about the input data and how it is created? If you are interested, i love to have a chat about the project.
Thanks in advance.
Norwin

Hi,

Glad to hear that you liked it! However, I have some bad news.

This project was undertaken 2-3 years ago and has since been completed deprecated. I am no longer involved in CFAR detector design or radar target detection. The code is quite dirty and messy, and I don't think there's much I can do to help because I don't remember what I was coding back then, lol.

The basic idea is that we are trying to directly simulate the resulting RD maps. We initialize a random distance and speed and apply 2D FFT on it.

For more details, please refer to this paper: C. -H. Lin, Y. -C. Lin, Y. Bai, W. -H. Chung, T. -S. Lee and H. Huttunen, "DL-CFAR: A Novel CFAR Target Detection Method Based on Deep Learning," 2019 IEEE 90th Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC2019-Fall), Honolulu, HI, USA, 2019, pp. 1-6.

Best regards,
Paul
