When running with ./run-mtgo --sound, I get the startup music, but no further sound. In game settings have sound cranked all the way up, so I should be getting sound when tapping lands, drawing cards etc.

Apart from that, works flawlessly and seems to run quicker than it did for me on Windows, so thanks for your efforts!

OS: Linux EndeavourOS
Desktop environment (for Linux): Sway
Graphics card: AMD ATI Radeon RX 470/480/570/570X/580/580X/590

I am getting zero sound whatsoever, even on the main menu.

OS: OpenSUSE Tumbleweed
DE: Cinnamon
GPU: AMD 6700XT

I also seem to get the same now, not even getting the startup music.
Tested some additional scenarios since I last posted:

  • docker-mtgo --sound and Lutris image on EndeavourOS (PC)
  • docker-mtgo --sound on and Lutris image Pop_OS! (Clevo Laptop)

No sound at all under any of these.

Same issue running brand new install + update of Linux Mint Cinnamon Edge 22.3

I am also getting zero sound when running a fresh install on Mint, not sure what the problem is. I've gotten a new docker image and made sure to run with --sound, as well as check --winecfg to make sure it has the correct output device selected.

Runs fantastic, and faster than Windows. Just really would like sound. Not sure why this is referencing ALSA when it should be using Pulse, though? Either way, attached is the terminal output log:
