Keyboard Layouts

Provides a German keyboard layout for Mac OSX to remove the backtick (`), tilde (~) and caret (^) deadkeys. Useful for vim and shell.

Installation

git clone https://github.com/pbollenbeck/keyboard-layouts
./setup

Go to Apple Menü -> Systemeinstellungen -> Tastatur -> Eingabequellen -> '+' -> Andere -> German-modified

Enable a shortcut (e.g. Cmd-Shift-Space) to quickly select an input source in Systemeinstellungen -> Tastatur -> Kurzbefehle -> Eingabequellen
