@pcfreak30 Any update on the update front? I know you have been busy but just checking in to see improvements in the plugin development.

You got a mention in an article by Ahrefs as the WP solution to criticalcss, so you might receive an increase of installs from WP users:

Thanks for letting me know :). I can tell you I am working on the following things:

  • Upgrade the plugin framework to 0.9.x of https://compose.press
  • Replace the backend queue system with https://actionscheduler.org. This is to fix edge case issues and performance overall. The deliciousbrains background processing classes are too cumbersome and cause issues, and have for a while now. actionscheduler does use one of the classes now internally, but only to launch itself.

After, a future goal is to rewrite the rest of the plugin and potentially using a rules-based design for handling critical css. But that is a bigger change. I am probably 75% done in the actionscheduler code migration.
