Timer Relay

Can someone please tell me/show me how to use the timer relay?

I can't figure it out.

Please send me a diagram.

Here is an example.

If Vin is low, in and out are not connected. There is a 10M "off" resistance between them.

Once Vin goes high relative to ground, there is a one second delay, and then in and out are connected.

In this example, I use a pulldown resistor because when the relay is "off", you still will see voltage on the output. (Just no current.)

Can it work with pure DC?

I'd like to be able to be able to trigger the input with a short to ground, it then switches a relay on the same device to power another device (C, NO, NC).

Is this possible?
