seems alright here, getting a few B+ setup based on Stretch and Pi desktop.

Though I happen to have a minor issue related to systemd-timesyncd:

RTC is correctly setup and has a correct date/time value, which is correctly restored during system boot up process, but if systemd-timesyncd is loaded and active, it might overwrite system time based on RTC value after finishing booting with an old one stored from previous NTP sync (when booting disconnected form network)
which would in turn would overwrite RTC value if system is correctly shutdown powered off (using power button)

So at the time I just disable systemd-timesyncd and trigger a manual ntp update when needed and connected to network
