Since my graphics card (2080ti) is still a bit too slow, I've only played a few minutes up to the garage so far. The problem is that I haven't figured out how to open the map yet, but instead the map keeps opening by itself. If you walk for a while, nothing happens, but if you stop and move, the map keeps opening for no reason. For example, just when you want to go straight ahead. Silent Hill and UEVR is up to date

Change your D-pad shifting method in UEVR's input settings.

Thank you very much, that worked. I deactivated ‘DPad Shifting’ and since then the map has never been activated again. 🤗

Unfortunately, I still don't know how to access the map or the inventory. I have tried every key combination. But I didn't want to mess around in the settings menu for the controls.

Change your d-pad shifting method to something you can use, so you can press the equivalent D-pad button for the map.

Ok, thanks again, everything works now.
The DPad Shift function is a great idea (head based hand gesture, the thumb rest function is not usable in practice). Too bad I had to do a lot of research to understand it. It would be great if it was mentioned somewhere. I'm also not the type of user who watches hours of YouTube tutorials before playing something. But UEVR is also not for the standard PCVR player... 😅

Have a nice day, Greetings Vince
