I use version 3.0.2-3 on Debian Buster.

To describe the issue a bit better:

when I start hamster-time-tracker on October 1st, work, then close my laptop lid without switching off the computer,
then I come back the next day, open the laptop, and hamster-time-tracker does not verify which date it is
and stays stuck on October 1st.

The hamster-applet changed the day automatically to the current day.

It would be nice to have this functionality in hamster-time-tracker.
