Had a question on how to work/change the data we get from snmp-explorer.
The information I get from a specific index, the result is a digit when it should be a string. Is there a way to change this?
This is what I get from snmp-explorer.
When I run an snmpwalk on the OID this is what I get;
Is there a way that I can get the string as a result “Tray-1/1/1” in snmp-explorer ?
Is there a way that we can add that value to a different index like
arubaWiredFanRPM
? Would like to addarubaWiredFanName
intoarubaWiredFanRPM
.Is there a way to add a specific index/info to a different index?
Not sure if I am using the proper terminology.
Here is my snmp-explorer config for this device. (Not sure on how to work with "lookups and overrides" this was from a sample config that was used.)
