This is currently blocked by #11

User story

As a developer, I never want to be confused about what version of the software is live on the server. I want to be able to look at version.txt in the browser and know precisely what version is running.

Acceptance criteria

  • Document that the version number is in version.txt
  • Include the commit hash and the branch name
