Prototyped this yesterday - works. Was surprised that the Lambda used almost 400MB memory to manipulate a 1.5MB file, so that is a consideration given Lambda has memory & execution time limits. |

Just curious if anyone has implemented a solution using Excelize with AWS Lambda and S3 - I have a use case to update an .xlsx file with data changes - our current architecture would prefer to use a Lambda function that is triggered by an event in order to do this. I'm thinking store the spreadsheet in S3, and on being triggered, the Lambda retrieves the .xlsx file to local temp storage, makes the changes, and writes it back to our versioned S3 bucket.
