Show every available info in torrent info tabs #20603
Comments
Either you're using some ancient version or you didn't really look. Several of them already exist. |
I not only looked, but even compared one-by-one to the ones available as table columns. Also, v4.6.3 here. All the listed info is available if added as a column, but not in torrent details below. |
Session Download/Upload shown in parentheses next to Upload/Downloaded (X this session) I thought "Completed" was there too but i mixed it up with "Completed on". Still, in my list i see no difference between Downloaded and Completed... guess i'll have to go read the libtorrent docs. |
You're right about Session Download/Upload, it's there. I've updated the OP. Downloaded means all the data that was downloaded (including corrupted and wrong one), Completed means the actual amount of usable and unique output data. |
I'm having trouble finding this information in the GUI. Can you include a screenshot of the relevant tab(s) in the GUI and WebUI so that I can more easily compare the two? Please also note the current torrent state (seeding, downloading, etc.) for easier reproducibility. You can redact any values you'd like to omit, like Info Hash. |
Sorry, there is a bit of a mixup. Not all of these values are explicitly listed in the GUI outright, most of them are accessible only by enabling relevant columns of the table. There is one piece of information more in the GUI, the Availibility graph that is shown under the Progress one (only during downloading). The issue applies to the GUI as well, apparently WebUI was emphasized by mistake in the OP. The missing information list is accurate though, for both the GUI and the WebUI. There is more information about a torrent available in customizable columns than in dedicated sections of UI. |
Tracking the lack of Availability in #9721. |
Suggestion
All information about a torrent is currently available only by enabling relevant overview table columns - while qBittorrent GUI and WebUI also contain a section dedicated to such data, namely the General tab of torrent details. The pieces of information that are missing:
Transfer section
Information section
Use case
These information fields can be added as columns in the torrent list so the information is already there, it just needs to be shown in the details. Some of these pieces are key and adding table columns shouldn't be the only way to obtain them.
