Make a Spack package for quinoa.

Dependencies Spack has

  • sci-libs/trilinos
  • charm+mpi
  • boost
  • hypre+mpi
  • random123
  • netlib-lapack+lapacke

Missing

  • mad-numdiff (LLNL/spack#3811)
  • h5part (LLNL/spack#3821)
  • boost-mpl-cartesian_product (LLNL/spack#3841)
  • tut (LLNL/spack#3844)
  • pugixml (LLNL/spack#3830)
  • pstreams (LLNL/spack#3840)
  • pegtl (LLNL/spack#3839)

There are pull requests for all mandatory dependencies now, so let's wait until they are merged.

@junghans are you sure spack installs on the correct trilinos version? It seems v12.10.1 but our tpl submodule hash does not match that of the one associated to the same trilinos version in spack.

Spack is referring to the hash of the tarball if it is a release.

Ah! That is unexpected. So the the trilinos commit we need is the same as the spack tarball is made at?

Spack is using 12.10.1, which git hash is trilinos/Trilinos@f94b7be, which is what quinoa-tpl is using.

We never figured out why the Trilinos of Spack didn't work.
