I'm currently using podman with the official docker shim. So far I've found that one needs to set the environmental variable. BUILDAH_FORMAT to docker. the caching setup seems to broken, I'm not sure how to fix this. Could someone help me fix this, I'm not to sure how to workaround/fix this

I've narrowed the issue down to --mount=type=cache,id=YfHI60aApFM-target,target=target is there anyway to override the command to fix the issues?

I have opened an issue with upstream buildah(what podman uses to build containers) to support this syntax. hopefully it will be fixed soon containers/buildah#4309

I have done it, with the following patch i was able to build and run a rust server
