Latest released version asserts "unsupported theme option 'display_version' given" Warning

Problem

My GitHub Action started failing with the following Sphinx Warning:
unsupported theme option 'display_version' given
Last Passing run was September 17
When I switch to version 2.0.0 It works.

It would be great to be able to display version for v3.0. It seems it is deprecated

The display_version config was removed in 3.x, that's why you are receiving this warning.

There is plan to add the version displayed when there is only one version: #1613 (comment)
