Thruster is the largest decentralized exchange protocol on Blast, an Ethereum-based scaling solution with over $2 billion in TVL. Thruster is supported by some of Blast’s most prominent investors, projects, and DeFi founders.
Warpdrive Development is one such contributing entity to the maintenance of the Thruster Protocol and is focused on helping to bootstrap Thruster and also the broader Blast ecosystem. We’re a fast-moving, experienced team in DeFi that have been key contributors to rapidly-growing protocols and products before.
We’re looking for a Blockchain Engineer who can continue to drive Thruster forward in our goal to be the home of DeFi & liquidity in the Blast ecosystem.
Responsibilities
This individual will work closely with developers contributing to the Thruster protocol. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the smart contracts and related interfaces for Thruster. You will also work closely with teams building with and on Thruster, supporting integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Support integrations and assist in technical onboarding of key partners of the Thruster protocol
Manage and develop relevant backend systems to support the protocol
Assist in designing and structuring frontend interaction with contracts, communicating requirements for contract interaction
Design and develop protocol mechanisms to enhance the Thruster protocol
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or proven track record working on smart contracts that have held TVL / supported many users without any exploit
Proven experience in smart contract development and blockchain engineering, preferably in the DeFi space.
Proficiency in Foundry and/or Brownie frameworks
Proficiency in Solidity, Vyper, or other smart contract programming languages.
Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic principles.
Experience with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), Web3.js, Truffle, and other blockchain development tools.
Familiarity with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols such as Uniswap, Compound, Aave, MakerDAO, etc.
Solid understanding of security best practices, code auditing, and vulnerability assessment methodologies in the context of smart contracts.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills in English with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to work in SGT or similar timezone
