  • Add Controller > Polling rate setting:
    • Allow adjusting the controller's polling rate
    • Default polling rate of xCloud website is 250 Hz (4ms)
    • Reducing this rate (+ limiting max FPS) will reduce CPU usage & improve battery life
    • Recommended to lower polling rate when playing slow paced games (RPG, Visual novels...) or playing on low-end devices
    • Don't set site's polling rate higher than your controller's polling rate. You can use gamepadla.com to check your controller's polling rate.

  • Optimize WebGL2 renderer
  • Add Video > Max FPS setting:
    • ⚠️ It only limits FPS of the renderer, not the game. Which means the game still runs at original frame rate, but you see a lower FPS on your device.
    • Only available when using WebGL2 renderer
    • Using this will make the stream a bit choppy (Unlimitted = not using this feature).
    • Limitting 30fps game at 30fps will always cause choppy stream
    • Limitting FPS will reduce CPU/GPU usage and improve battery life. Example: rendering a 60fps game at 40fps will improve battery life by ~20%.
    • It's recommended to only use this in games like JRPG, Visual novel..., where frame rate doesn't matter
    • It's doesn't affect network usage (you still download the same amount of data)
