I did a run through on the turtlebot3 simulations - teleop, slam and auto navigation, and all went smoothly.

Porting the turtlebot3 navigation stack to mybot had the following issues:

  • the robot is not responsive with teleop commands, takes some time before the robot responds accordingly unlike with the turtlebot3 simulation
  • 2D Nav Goal is not working in RViz
