Spectral Compressor causing DAW to crash

Preexisting instances of Spectral Compressor seem to work normally, but any time I try loading a new instance of the plugin in any project, the entire DAW (Studio One 5) crashes. I also can't drag/copy-paste over instances from one track to another.

I tried downloading a new VST3 file from this site (made 08/18/2024, my file is from 02/22/2024), but Studio One is not reading the new plugin when the DAW boots up and begins the plugin-scan. It only reads the old file.
