I'm not a linux guy and so hopefully this won't come off as very ignorant.
I followed the instructions on https://github.com/rocky4546/script.xmltv.tvheadend/wiki/Guide:-How-to-Setup-XMLTV-for-TVHeadEnd and installed it on my Vero4k box where I have TVheadend installed. A lot of the PVR recordings I make end up with crazy names like C134yj and similar, though the show recorded fine and in the EPG it also lists as fine (though the ones that often end up with the crazy name have an asterisk after the title).
Anyway, I suspect the problem lies somewhere in using zap2it and I would like to uninstall it to test. Could someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks.

Uninstall would include removing the cronjob for the user. you can see it by typing crontab -l
crontab -e will edit the list. After that, you can just remove the folder created.
