Looking for distros that still have python2 as default option but they all seem to have removed support. Though some only recently, e.g. REHL stopped supporting it in June 2024 https://access.redhat.com/solutions/4455511

Supporting python 2 doesn't add extra maintenance costs for us and we will eventually migrate python parts to rust.
