MIDI voices from loaded file sometimes ignored #259

Describe the bug
Sometimes the specifed instruments do not play from a MIDI file (an electric piano appears to be used instead).

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Upload a MIDI file such as that attached file the File > Open menu.
Attempt to play the MIDI.
Usually the instruments/voices specified are used, sometimes not.

Expected behavior
The MIDI track to use the programmed voices.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

OS: macOD 13.3.1 (22E261)
Firefox
Version 112.0 (64-bit)
