autopilot stuck on, unable to change settings or manually fly

Describe the bug

FMC was reprogrammed during flight to discard existing route in favor of new ILS approach.

engines 2 and 3 starved, I did not understand the cross feed (couldn't find any documentation).

After restarting the autopilot remained locked to the settings that were entered at the time of the failure. no response to hdg sel, v/s. just locked on present heading.

Worse, after disengaging in every possible way, the a/c would fight/counter any joystick inputs.

Expected behaviour

countdown of distance to next waypoint

normal response to manual inputs after disengaging flight director and autopilot

Steps to reproduce

fuel in outer mains and a bit in the centre, allow 2 & 3 to starve and shut down. turn on apu, gens, restart 2 &3, wait 5-10 mins.

logitech extreme 3d pro joystick, confirmed calibration is accurate

The aircraft's AP is not connected to the fuel system whatsoever - what are you using to disengage AP? Is it actually disengaging? I strongly encourage you join our Discord for better support.
