What are the minimum necessary steps to reproduce this issue?

  1. Use any todo.txt and done.txt files. Examples attached: todo.txt done.txt
  2. Run the stand alone version of effitask (/usr/bin/effitask)

What happens?

The icons, fonts and spaces are very large. Screenshots attached: inbox projects

What were you expecting to happen?

Reasonably sized icons, fonts and spaces.

Any other details

Is there any settings file where the icons, fonts and spaces sizes can be configured? Thank you.

I have the same problem, I think that needs a compact mode or something, I have a XFCE desktop env, and I have a small netbook, and have 2 bars with actions buttons, why this happend??.

I don’t know if it’s possible to have a responsive design with GTK, a compact view can be a good alternative.
