Is the Kanban meant to lose all cards and tags when restarting?

No this should not happen. I fear that it has to do with Apple certificates that expired in Feb 2016 (a little Apple fuckup). Does this happen every time you restart?

I recently purchased the software on the app store. First time I restarted my machine though with it. I'll populate it with some test cards and tags and let you know if it happens a second time when I give my machine a reboot. Also after restarting I ran the 'purge' command, would that have any effect on it?

I use the sudo purge command in terminal to free up inactive memory from time to time. My mac is getting on in years, so I use it from time to time.

The purge command should not cause trouble as it only frees up inactive memory.
