0 - becuse for whatever reasons it doesn't work. I turned DDG off... no idea why this is the case - see my tests & efforts to resolve that. DDG ca be accessed via terminal on docker host... no idea why it isn't working for XNG. |

Hi!
I've got the version "2024.5.12+60a373ad8" of SearXNG running in my docker environment in my Hetzner datacenter location - docker host sitting behind a pfSense firewall with HAProxy forwarding an URL to the docker host & container (port). Everything is working as expected but just DuckDuckGo Seach-Engine gives me a timeout. I already tried:
I installed SearXNG via pi-hosted searxng template through portioner. Google works - all the other ones as well.
The container log shows:
2024-05-14 16:36:50,971 ERROR:searx.engines.duckduckgo: engine timeout 2024-05-14 16:36:51,013 WARNING:searx.engines.duckduckgo: ErrorContext('searx/engines/duckduckgo.py', 118, 'res = get(query_url)', 'httpx.ConnectTimeout', None, (None, None, 'duckduckgo.com')) False 2024-05-14 16:36:51,014 ERROR:searx.engines.duckduckgo: HTTP requests timeout (search duration : 5.04294298700006 s, timeout: 5.0 s) : ConnectTimeout
Any idea what to do or where to look for the problem?
