NVIDIA MDL SDK Contributors License Agreement

Thank you for your interest in contributing to the NVIDIA MDL SDK.

In order to clarify the intellectual property license granted with MDL SDK Contributions from any person or entity, NVIDIA requires that a Contributor have a signed Contributor License Agreement (CLA) on file. This license is for your protection as a Contributor as well as the protection of NVIDIA and adopters of the MDL SDK; it does not change your rights to use your own Contributions for any other purpose.

You can find the Contributors License Agreement at the root of the repository: NVIDIA_MDL_SDK_CLA.pdf. Please print, sign, scan, and email the CLA to mdl-sdk-cla@nvidia.com and wait for confirmation.

Contribution Submissions

Here is a checklist and how to submit your contribution:

  1. Communicate your interest to contribute in the NVIDIA Developer Forum for MDL SDK and check for likewise interests which can help to align and avoid redundant work.

  2. Please respect the coding style and conventions in each module and file when preparing contributions.

  3. Make sure a Contributors License Agreement (CLA) is on file with the GitHub login that you are planning on using for the contribution.

  4. Prepare your submission to work with latest version of the MDL SDK on GitHub.

  5. Test your changes by building the MDL SDK libraries as well as building and running the examples. See Building the MDL SDK from Source for details.

  6. Submit your contribution as a git patch to mdl-sdk-contrib@nvidia.com.
